We are looking for an UX / UI Designer (m/f/d) located at our modern office in Groningen. With us, you can expect a varied position in a small team and so your impact is big. Our vision is to offer our customer the best experience and user-friendliness when looking for tickets at our website by using the most innovative technologies.
So in this new and exciting role your mission is to improve the overall user experience of our website. You will be working on our webshop www.global-ticket.com. Your position is crucial for our success, because you will make sure that our customers’ journey is easy and effective in helping them find the right tickets by designing an optimal User Experience. For this mission you will be supported by our graphic designer.
The balancing act between user-friendliness and technical implementation is a piece of cake for you? You already have experience in UX UI design and as a plus you also did some AB-Testing in the past? Then we have the perfect project based job for you!
Your Job
- Increase the conversion rate of the webshop by making step-by-step changes to the design
- Create designs and the best user flow, based on big data and feedback from our customers, stakeholders and team members
- Optimization, development and maintenance of our online store
- Measure and document the success of your decisions with the team and iterate when needed
- Research on users’ perspectives and competitive landscape to generate solutions
- Bring new ideas to evolve the overall user experience and happiness and translate them into tangible and feasible designs
Your Profile
- Completed studies, training as a graphic designer, media designer, comparable training or talented career changer with experience in UX UI design
- +3 years of relevant work experience
- Very good Knowledge of design tools
- Good knowledge of e-commerce and conversion optimalization
- Experience with user/usability testing and design optimization
- Confident command of written and spoken English
- You can translate requirements, data and business goals into functional, usable, and beautiful design solutions
- You like to pick websites apart and always have ideas about how they could be better
- Your work style is characterized by independence and dynamism
