The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is located around 30 minutes north of Barcelona and is easily accessible by car or public transport.

Travelling by car:

If you're driving to the circuit, make sure to plan your journey in advance. There are two main routes to the track:

• Via the C-17 (exit Montmeló)
• Via the AP-7 motorway (exits 13, 14 or 15)

After exiting the motorway, simply follow the clearly signposted route to the designated parking areas. We recommend booking your parking ticket in advance, as there is no on-site parking sale available. Roads around the circuit can get very busy, especially on race weekend – so be sure to allow plenty of time to avoid long delays.

Important tip: Before you set off, regularly check for the latest traffic updates and travel information to stay informed about any changes to the access routes or parking options.

Travelling by Bus and Train:

One of the highlights of the Spanish GP is the easy and stress-free journey to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya using public transport. From Barcelona, you can take the RENFE suburban train (R2 Nord line) from the stations Barcelona Sants, Passeig de Gràcia or Clots directly to Montmeló – the nearest stop to the circuit. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Additional trains run during the Grand Prix weekend to make the journey easier for fans. As trains can get very full, it’s best to plan ahead and check the latest timetables before you travel. Train tickets can be purchased at any station ticket counter in Barcelona.

On race weekend, free shuttle buses run between Montmeló station and the circuit. These run continuously from morning until early evening and are timed to match train arrivals. The frequency of service depends on the number of arriving passengers. Be sure to check the shuttle timetables in advance.

Alternatively, you can walk to the circuit – the walk along the main roads takes around 45 minutes, so the shuttle bus is the more convenient option.

In addition to the train, there's another comfortable option: the official Grand Prix bus service operated by Autocars Sagalés.

• From Barcelona: Buses depart regularly from Estació del Nord (near Arc de Triomf), with good connections to the metro and Rodalies trains.
• From Lloret de Mar & surrounding coastal areas: Additional Sagalés buses are expected to run from Lloret de Mar as well.
